Senior Product Marketing Manager at Massdrop

We are looking for a talented, dynamic, and passionate Senior Product Marketing professional to drive successful launches of our Massdrop Made products and to further grow our enthusiast communities. Massdrop is home to 20+ enthusiast communities ranging from Audiophile and Mech Keys to Cooking and Knitting. One way we bring value to these communities is through community-driven commerce: we find out what our communities want, and either get them great deals on those products or go out and make them ourselves with our Massdrop Made collaborations. We have hundreds of products for sale at any given time and multiple Massdrop Made product launches every month, both of which lead to an exciting and fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will work in interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute on launch plans for Massdrop Made collaborations. You will be a key driver of the strategy and owner of results for these launches, and will own touch points across channels including on-site, email, influencer, ad, and social channels. You will need to balance being community-first, helping to ensure we’re listening to and providing value to our communities, and being data-driven, ensuring we’re focusing on the right things and getting expected results. You will be expected to get your hands dirty by jumping in on the conversation with our members, diving head first into new communities, and helping to deeply understand the needs of our communities.

Here's what you'll do as part of the team:

Partner with our Collaborations and Creative teams to develop, plan for, and launch new Massdrop Made products across communities.
Own the results and learnings for our product launches to continue to grow our collective understanding of our communities and launch strategies.
Align with other team members or execute launch strategies yourself across channels including on-site, email, influencer, ad, and social channels.
Build relationships with our core community members to better understand their communities and to drive more successful launches.
Make other opportunities to drive more value to our communities. Launch campaigns, organize meetups, or develop influencer programs - there are hundreds of opportunities across our communities and we’re just starting to scratch the surface.
And these are the experience and skills you'll need to be successful:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related area. Experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
2-5 years working experience
Self-starter who can take a bit of directional input and then take off
Have the ability to blend strategic thinking with creative execution
Possess excellent organizational skills and strong follow-through
Written and oral communications skills are superb
Thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments where change is the norm, the bar for quality is set high
Deep analytical skills, demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues and evaluate execution against measured results
